Nancy J. Oriola, LCSW, NMG, CMC, CFP®
Nancy has more than 30 years’ experience providing clinical and financial management services to adults. Her emphasis and training has been in the areas of aging, geriatrics, mental health and family mediation. Early in her career she spent 10 years as a financial planning practitioner before obtaining her Master’s Degree in Social Work. Nancy has worked in both the non-profit and private care management settings with seniors. She is a nationally certified Master Guardian, a designation held by fewer than 100 professionals in the United States. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a nationally Certified Care Manager and a Certified Financial Planner, Nancy brings an enormous depth of experience and knowledge to her clients and to the professional team. She is dedicated to ensuring that our elders and vulnerable adults are provided with the highest quality service; by the best, most caring and compassionate professional staff possible.
Nancy is very active in the Albuquerque community serving on the Board of Directors for the New Mexico Guardianship Association (Past President) and as treasurer/secretary of both the New Mexico Estate Planning Council and the Southern New Mexico Estate Planning Council. She also serves on the SAGE Albuquerque Advisory Committee and the New Mexico Guardianship Task Force. She is a member of the national Aging Life Care Association and the National Guardianship Association. Nancy has a daughter attending Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida and visits her own aging Mom regularly in New England. She enjoys gardening, hiking and traveling when she can. Her greatest passion is mentoring young professionals and speaking to groups about aging related topics.
Gretchen Price, BA, CMC
Gretchen is the Chief Executive Officer for The Care Management Group of NM. She oversees all operational matters of the company and works with founder, Ms. Oriola, in the long term development of service offerings and company growth. In addition, Gretchen currently oversees the day to day work of the financial managers. She often works with families during the initial introduction to our team and services and provides on-going training and education in the community. Gretchen is a graduate of the University of Missouri/Columbia with a degree in psychology and art. She recently obtained a certificate in gerontology from the University of California at Davis. Her work in the pharmaceutical industry, banking and as a professional trainer make her uniquely qualified to lead the multidisciplinary team of professionals working with the seniors and families we serve. Gretchen serves on the Caregiver & Professional Conference committees of the Alzheimer’s Association. She is the busy Mom of twin boys, coaching soccer and as treasurer for their school PTA. Gretchen loves taking her boys camping and being outdoors.

Deborah McCullough, BSN, RN
A native New Mexican and a graduate of the UNM School of Nursing, Deborah has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of nursing. Prior to joining our care management team she worked with families and health care institutions assessing and educating both regarding the needs of patients and loved ones. Deborah’s work involves assisting others in navigation of the healthcare system, advocating for appropriate care and providing on-going continuity of care by attending medical appointments and consulting with families and staff regarding complex medical matters. Deborah is also on the faculty of the nursing program at CNM (Central NM Community College). Deborah has two daughters and loves her faith and the joy of living every day to the fullest.
Deborah Brin, MA, MAHL
Deborah joined the care management team after a long career serving others as a Rabbi; most recently with Congregation Nahalat Shalom here in Albuquerque. A native of Minneapolis, Deborah received her degree in Pastoral Counseling from LaSalle University in Philadelphia as well as Ordination, an MA in Hebrew Letters and an honorary Doctor of Divinity from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College also in Philadelphia. Her experience includes pastoral care for congregants, hospice chaplaincy, and geriatric chaplaincy at Martins Run, the first Jewish life-care retirement community in the U.S. She was a founder of the Chevra Kaddisha (the Burial Society) at Albuquerque’s Jewish Family Services and provided both social and religious services at Shalom House. She says she is glad to be able to reinvent her rabbinate in a way that allows her to still do good and meaningful work in the world and continue to serve individuals and their families. She feels that care management is a natural continuation of work she has always done. She is a back yard birder who loves being outdoors in nature and playing with her dog. Her passion is being connected with other people, being of service and social & environmental justice.
Lee Ann McIntyre-Lees, RN, BSN, MHA
For the last 25 years Lee Ann has worked in various health care settings as a registered nurse. Caring and advocating for others has been a lifelong passion for Lee Ann. Prior to joining our care management team, Lee Ann worked in various leadership positions in the acute care hospital setting as well as in home health care. Her years of experience in quality improvement, care coordination and hospital leadership roles have shaped her desire to provide person-centered, compassionate, quality care in her practice. As a care manager she advocates for her clients to ensure care is coordinated, efficient and quality driven while respecting the needs, values and preferences of her clients. LeeAnn’s graduate degree is in Health Care Administration with a concentration in Gerontology. She is and avid cyclist and has a love for traveling.
Michelle Franowsky, MA, MSW
With both a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling, as well as a Master’s degree in Social Work from San Diego State University, Michelle has spent her career working in the areas of mental health, substance abuse, and protective services. Recently retired from the Albuquerque Public Defender Department’s Mental Health Division, Michelle works with those individuals who are suffering from significant mental illness. Her compassion and experience offer individuals and families assistance in obtaining appropriate services.
Dee Dee Shields, BS
Care Manager – Santa Fe
A resident of Santa Fe since 1997, Dee Dee has spent the last twenty five years as an educator, advisor and consultant; working closely with individuals to help them plan for all phases of their lives using a collaborative, goals-based approach. Dee Dee received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences/Secondary Education from Oklahoma State University, and has earned the designations of Certified Legal Assistant and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® professional. A recent graduate of Leadership Santa Fe, Dee Dee is known to many because of her many volunteer activities. She brings a unique multidisciplinary skill set to her work with seniors and disabled adults in Santa Fe and northern New Mexico. Dee Dee was recently appointed to the Aging and Long Term Services Department Advisory Council by Governor Susana Martinez. In her spare time, Dee Dee likes to garden, travel, run, hike, play the piano and attend the Santa Fe Opera. She shares her home with her two cats, Party and GillyWeed.

Sally Abeyta, BBA
Sally is passionate about people and education. She enjoys helping others, which is exactly why she loves her career as a Financial Manager Associate, where she has the opportunity to help people every single day. Sally understands that everyone’s economic and life situation is unique. She keeps this in mind when providing financial management for our clients. It is her belief that personalized service is essential when matching clients with the right financial choices. As a Financial Manager Associate, she is dedicated to learning about each client’s specific situation and goals. When partnering with you, she will use that knowledge to help you structure a financial plan focused on your specific needs.
Sally is a UNM Anderson School of Management Honors Graduate. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration concentrating in Finance. Before joining our team, Sally was a licensed life and health insurance agent and financial advisor for three years. She also holds a Series 6 & 63 securities license.
On any given day, you can find Sally on the sidelines cheering on her two amazing boys who play sports year-round … football, wrestling, baseball. She is also married to her loving husband and high-school sweetheart, Joseph.
Nathan Lopez, BBA
Nathan joined our team following a decade working in banking, insurance, and mortgage lending. A graduate of the New Mexico State University College of Business Administration & Economics, he is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree from Trinity Southwest University. Nathan most recently owned ANJ Business Services in which he provided insurance sales and small business financial services. As a New Mexico native, Nathan is bilingual and is committed to working with an organization that positively impacts the community. A married father of three young children, Nathan is a youth team leader for his church and enjoys spending time with his family.
Melissa Linehan, AS
Melissa not only manages corporate finances and human resources for The Care Management Group, she also works with our team in managing all aspects of client accounting, reconciliation and reporting. Melissa joined our team in 2015 after a decade managing the finances of a local family business, as well as all areas of human resources. Melissa grew up in New Hampshire and moved to New Mexico in 2002 to be near family. Melissa holds an Associates Degree in Integrated Studies and is working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Melissa loves Disney World, arts and literature and green chile. Melissa has a passion for human rights, equality and women’s rights. Melissa is also passionate about rescuing animals and has many rescued pets.
Denise is a proud native New Mexican, born and raised in Albuquerque. She has more than 26 years’ experience in banking with concentrations in auditing and client services. Her current position allows her to continue her focus on providing great customer service and meeting the needs of our clients and the community. Denise oversees the administration of our Springing Care Program as well as the outreach and education efforts within the community. She feels blessed to be able to spend time with her wonderful family and friends. And she enjoys exploring, hiking and fishing in Colorado and New Mexico with plans to expand that enjoyment across the United States.
